Half of India’s tea is grown in Assam Province,
mostly in the low and hilly Brahmaputra Valley, where miles upon miles of
lush, green tea bushes are watered by some of the heaviest rains in
the world. Assam Province extends far into India’s northeast, bordering
China, Burma, and Bangladesh, and its population includes numerous tribes
as well as migrants from Nepal and Bangladesh.
Our Assam Blend Black Tea is a bold,
full-bodied black tea grown and blended for those
who like a malty tea with a little milk. This is an
Irish Breakfast type tea.
